Wambo Medical has been an integral part of the Jandowae community for many years however in the past few years, the centre moved into a purpose-built “Queenslander” style medical centre.
The practice is located right in the middle of town and a “stones’ throw” from the local hospital, ambulance and aged care facility.
Wambo Medical Centre RACGP accreditation demonstrates its commitment to quality and safety within the practice while improving the level of care to both patients and the community.
To achieve accreditation, doctors and support staff within a practice work over 12 months to implement the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) Standards for general practices (the recognised national standard), which provides a template for quality care and risk management.
